Weld Inspection
At Foxhound NDT, we specialize in various non-destructive testing (NDT) methods that allow us to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage.
Our services include:
- Visual Inspection (VI): Thorough visual examination by trained professionals. Visual inspection is the most common weld quality testing method.
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI): Detects surface and sub-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials (ex. steel).
- Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI): Identifies surface-breaking defects. Can be performed on all types of materials, both ferrous and non-ferrous.
